A successful energy transition requires everyone’s energy. We want to be an organisation where all perspectives and opinions are heard and valued. Where we support one another with our differences.
New approaches
What typifies Enexis is that everyone is there for everyone else and our employees are incredibly dedicated. This has enabled us to ensure the high reliability of our grid for all these years. Looking to the future, we need more to fulfil our mission to carry out the energy transition in our service area.
We are working on the energy system of the future even though we don’t know exactly what that system will look like. What we do know is that in order to achieve it, we need a lot of people, different insights and new ways of thinking and doing.
A home
We want to bring in all the talents, opinions, backgrounds, ways of thinking and doing that are out there. We want everyone to feel at home with us, regardless of where you were born, who you love or what pronouns you use, what age you are or whether you have a physical or mental challenge.
But just being diverse is not enough. Being able to work with those differences, harnessing their power, that is what inclusive means. Being able to work with differences to solve problems. So that we support one another and are able to achieve our strategic goals.

Practical steps
At Enexis, we believe that our differences make us stronger. That is why we have taken practical steps to promote diversity and inclusion. Our recruitment team actively looks for diverse talent, while our women's network 'ZIJ!' and our young people’s association 'NEXT' offer a platform for personal growth and connection. We have also launched the ‘Erfgoed van Enexis’ (‘Enexis Heritage’) pilot, connecting young and old. We also work with external organisations such as UAF and the Refugee Talent Hub to offer refugees a place within our branches and ICT department.
