Joining our work-study programme

If you want to work as an electrician, electrical engineer or a technical supervisor in this country, you need the right set of qualifications. This includes the Safety Certificate for Contractors. IT developers and engineers too are encouraged to grow their skills. We offer a training programme that is aligned with your experience and knowledge. Once you have completed the training, we will match your skills and interests with a job that is right for you.
  • Dutch language training

Being able to speak Dutch is not just about being able to communicate with colleagues or clients. You may also need good knowledge of Dutch to comply with industry-specific safety guidelines. So, if a good command of Dutch is needed for your role, Dutch language training will be an integral part of your work-study programme. It will help you communicate with confidence. Not just on the job, but in your private life as well.

Meeting your needs, the training may range from e-learning to classroom learning and individual coaching. To avoid language barriers, all of our teachers speak English.

  • To help you get started and find your way, you will be supported by a buddy. Your buddy mentors you, offers guidance and helps you get to know our workplace culture.

  • At Enexis, we care about your health and wellbeing. As mandatory basic health insurance may not cover your and your family’s needs, we offer discounts on supplementary insurance under our group policy at Zilveren Kruis Achmea. Should you opt for such additional cover, we will contribute €30 a month towards the insurance premium.

Joining our group health insurance scheme also means you have free access to healthcare mediation. The Zilveren Kruis healthcare mediators help you get access to specialist treatment quicker. They even select the best hospital or care provider for your situation.

What you bring to Enexis

Welcoming technicians, engineers and developers at every seniority level, we match your job with your experience, knowledge and interests. What you bring is your knowledge of IT or electrical engineering and a drive to learn more. You also communicate easily in English, as you need to be able to understand others and be understood.
