    Your start at Enexis

    As a Junior BPA Engineer, you’ll join one of our value chain teams in Den Bosch after completing an extensive training program. These teams develop and manage digital process flows using our Process Automation Platform in a modern IT environment. Together, you’ll ensure processes are automated intelligently and efficiently, enabling the organization to deliver value faster and better.

    At the same time, you’ll participate in the Young Professional Program—a 9-month learning journey focused on personal development. You’ll attend training sessions on topics like CI/CD, TypeScript, MongoDB, stakeholder management, communication, networking, and self-awareness. You’ll gain a broad understanding of the organization and lay a solid foundation for your career at Enexis. In addition, you can follow a personalized development plan with role-specific training to help you grow into your position.

    This is what your first year looks like:

    • You will work 40 hours per week on substantive projects within your role.
    • You will participate in the Young Professional Program together with a group of other juniors from different parts of the organization.
    • You will take part in joint sessions, peer reviews, inspirational trainings, and informal activities.
    • You will be guided by experienced colleagues from your team and the Young Talent Team coordinators.

  • How you approach it

    After comprehensive training on our Process Automation Platform (based on Flowable open-source software), you’ll actively define and implement new functionalities, products, technical strategies, development standards, and configurations. Your contribution will be key to the team’s success!

    Our Flowable/BPA Young Professional training plan ensures you’re well-prepared for this role. Alongside specialized training within your department, you’ll join personal development sessions during your first six months, together with other Young Professionals. This unique combination of technical skills and personal growth gives you the opportunity to develop professionally while expanding your network and understanding the organization. It’s the ultimate kickstart for your career at Enexis!

    Your Responsibilities

    • Support both the platform team and the value chain team in daily tasks, while taking ownership of independent assignments.
    • Organize, prioritize, and execute tasks autonomously.
    • Engage actively in the Young Professional training program.
    • Participate in BPA community events and share knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

    You’ll work with Business Process Automation engineers in a dynamic environment alongside product owners, architects, and engineers in a SAFe/agile context. You’ll be coached by the BPA platform team and join one of the stream-aligned teams. Collaboration is key as you create, improve, and maintain complex process flows across various technical environments.

    Enexis is transforming into a high-tech IT organization. Increasingly, departments use business process modeling to automate workflows. For performance benefits, Enexis has chosen Flowable open-source software within a Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript stack in an AWS environment on Kubernetes. Many solutions have already been successfully implemented, and demand for BPA and process orchestration continues to grow. That’s why we’re looking for a Junior BPA Engineer to strengthen our teams—giving you the chance to make a real impact!

    What We Expect from You

    You have essential skills such as software development, problem-solving, communication, and curiosity. Additionally, you have:

    • A relevant technical bachelor’s degree (HBO or higher), e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, ICT & Business, or Technical Business Administration with an IT focus.
    • Knowledge of Business Process Modeling or an interest in workflow automation.
    • Programming skills in at least one language, preferably JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Ambition to become an expert in process orchestration within low-code/high-code environments, cloud (AWS), DevOps, and Kubernetes.
    • Enthusiasm for a dynamic role in a rapidly changing environment.

    For this position is it important that you already live and work in the Netherlands. Full remote work is not possible.

    • Salary between €3,587 and €5,124 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week). Including secondary benefits, your salary can reach up to €6,595 gross per month.
    • 70% contribution to your ABP Choice Pension.
    • Personal budget of 10% and a 13th-month payment of 10.7% of your gross annual salary. You can flexibly use this or have it paid out monthly or annually.
    • 24.5 vacation days with full-time employment. Need more time to recharge? With your personal budget and 13th month, you can buy up to 35.5 additional leave days.
    • Opportunities to work from home, including a home office setup and an allowance of €2.40 per day.
    • Laptop or tablet and phone that you can also use privately.
    • Travel allowance and a first-class public transport subscription for business use.
    • Vitality budget of €500 for, for example, a gym membership.
    • Room to grow with our internal development platform or external training and courses.
