As a team, we work together in the office about two days per week, and it would be great if our new team member would like to join us for these days. Given the challenge brought by the energy transition and the strong demand to drastically and rapidly reinforce the current (electricity) grid, this team operates in a very dynamic and relevant field focused on sensor data.
As a Cloud Engineer in Team Sensor, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) by building and maintaining the technology to ensure the seamless transfer of asset sensor data. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining the data foundation that enables Enexis to manage and optimize the energy grid and asset lifecycle. The sensor data we deliver empowers Enexis to analyze the performance of our grid and make data-driven decisions about grid management and expansion, all crucial for accelerating the energy transition.
Team Sensor is an inter-disciplinary group of Data Engineers and Mendix developers. We work to provide applications with high-quality, reliable data that our business users love. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll be the missing link to help solve our technology puzzle.
We're looking for a Cloud Engineer, that can help us migrate to new technology stacks for several applications.

How you approach it
Within the team, you collaborate and add value by applying agile principles and working with the SAFe framework. Strong analytical skills and clear communication are essential for translating complex data into valuable insights and for working effectively with various stakeholders. Proactive knowledge sharing and a flexible, positive attitude contribute to solving complex challenges in Enexis’s dynamic working environment.
Requirements:
- Demonstrable work experience (at least three, but preferably five years or more) in a data environment as a Cloud Engineer or a similar position
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS – 5+ years
- Experience with Python, CI/CD, Docket, Kubernetes
- Experience with Terraform or comparable infrastructure tooling
- Knowledge of Matillion and Snowflake, or similar ETL tooling (fine to have)

- Salary between € 4.856,- en € 6.937, - Gross per month (based on 40 hours a wewek). Including your secundary benefits (see below) this can lead up to € 8.928,- gross per month.
- Personal budget of 10% and a 13th month of 10.7% of your gross annual salary. These can be used flexibly or paid out monthly or annually.
- 24.5 vacation days for full-time employment. Need more recharging time? Use your personal budget and 13th month to buy up to 35.5 additional leave days.
- Contribution of 70% to your ABP elective pension.
- Opportunities to work from home, including a home office set up by us and an allowance of €2.40 per day.
