As a Junior BPMN Engineer – Young Professional Program at Enexis, you’ll actively contribute to current challenges within your field while participating in a unique development program. This way, you’ll build both professional expertise and personal growth.

    Your start at Enexis

    As a Junior BPMN Engineer, you’ll be part of the Digital Department team in Denbosch. This team focuses on digital process automation using Flowable (BPMN/CMMN). Together, you ensure that business processes are modeled and automated efficiently to support the organization’s digital transformation.

    At the same time, you’ll join the Young Professional Program: a 9-month learning journey where you work on your personal development alongside other Young Professionals. Think of training sessions on stakeholder management, communication, networking, and self-awareness. You’ll gain a broad understanding of the organization and build a solid foundation for your career at Enexis. In addition to this general program, there’s also the option to follow a personalized development plan. Through a tailored training plan with role-specific courses, you’ll learn how to grow in your position.

    This is what your first year looks like:

    • You will work 40 hours per week on substantive projects within your role.
    • You will participate in the Young Professional Program together with a group of other juniors from different parts of the organization.
    • You will take part in joint sessions, peer reviews, inspirational trainings, and informal activities.
    • You will be guided by experienced colleagues from your team and the Young Talent Team coordinators.

  • How you approach it

    After a thorough training in our flowable platform spanning more than half a year, you will be actively involved in defining and implementing new functionalities, products, technical strategies, development standards, and configurations. You will contribute to the overall success of the team! 

    In our training plan for Flowable/BPM young professionals, we ensure you are well-prepared for this responsible position. In addition to the specialized training within your department, you will participate in personal development training during the first six months of your employment, together with other Young Professionals at Enexis. This unique combination of hard skills- and personal development training gives you the opportunity not only to develop yourself but also to get to know the organization better and rapidly expand your network. This provides a real kick-start for your career at Enexis!  

    Your responsibilities: 

    • You support the team in daily tasks but also take on your own assignments.  

    • You organize, prioritize, and plan tasks and tackle them independently.  

    • You collaborate with different teams to provide reliable and scalable platforms, enabling the chain teams to deliver value faster and better every day.  

    • Learn and work within the training plan for Young Professionals. 

    • Be active within the Community of Practice, sharing knowledge and insights to foster continuous improvement.

    Your Colleagues from the Digital Department! You will work as a young professional Flowable/BPMN in a dynamic environment with product owners, architects, and engineers in a SAFe/agile context. You will be coached by the Flowable BPMN platform team and join one of the stream-aligned teams. You will closely collaborate with various other teams to create, navigate, improve, and maintain complex process flows in different technical environments.

    Enexis is transforming into a high-tech IT Company. More and more departments are using business process modeling to automate their processes and workflows. Because of its performance advantages, Enexis has chosen to implement Flowable within a Node.js/JavaScript/TypeScript stack in an AWS context running in Kubernetes. Many solutions have already been successfully realized. This success has made Flowable increasingly popular, creating a growing demand. Therefore, we are looking for a junior Flowable/BPM engineer to strengthen our teams. This gives you the opportunity to make a huge impact! 

    What We Expect from You

    You possess essential competencies such as problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a curious mindset. In addition, you have:

    • A relevant HBO(+) degree, for example: Computer Science, Software Engineering, ICT & Business, or Industrial Engineering with an IT focus.
    • Knowledge of BPMN/BPM/CMMN or an affinity with workflow automation.
    • Programming skills in at least one programming language, preferably JavaScript/TypeScript.
    • Ambition to become a professional in process orchestration in the world of low code/high code, cloud (AWS), DevOps, and Kubernetes.
    • A desire to start in a role full of dynamism and change.

    For this position is it important that you already live and work in the Netherlands. Full remote work is not possible.

    • Salary between €3,587 and €5,124 gross per month (based on 40 hours per week). Including secondary benefits, your salary can reach up to €6,595 gross per month.
    • 70% contribution to your ABP Choice Pension.
    • Personal budget of 10% and a 13th-month payment of 10.7% of your gross annual salary. You can flexibly use this or have it paid out monthly or annually.
    • 24.5 vacation days with full-time employment. Need more time to recharge? With your personal budget and 13th month, you can buy up to 35.5 additional leave days.
    • Opportunities to work from home, including a home office setup and an allowance of €2.40 per day.
    • Laptop or tablet and phone that you can also use privately.
    • Travel allowance and a first-class public transport subscription for business use.
    • Vitality budget of €500 for, for example, a gym membership.
    • Room to grow with our internal development platform or external training and courses.
