How you approach it

Your Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integrations.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights by combining multiple data sources.
• Contribute to data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL development.
• Explore and enhance the Enexis Data Platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization using agile (Scrum/SAFe) practices.

What You Bring

• A university (WO) or applied sciences (HBO) degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree.
• At least 2 years of experience with data modeling, ETL, SQL and GIT (or any other versioning control system);
• Strong communication skills in Dutch (spoken and written).
• Experience with tools like Matillion, Snowflake, and Power BI is a plus.
• Familiarity with processing large volumes of (streaming) data.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering or grid management is beneficial.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, Snowpipe, Snowflake Tasks, Python and the AWS platform (including monitoring) is a plus.

Team Basalt is a newly formed, fast-evolving team within Enexis, created to meet the growing need for cross-team data services that support reliable congestion management. Our mission is to build solid data foundations that unify diverse data sources into a single source of truth. We do this with energy, collaboration, and a healthy dose of humor.

As a Medior Data Engineer, you’ll help shape these foundations by developing scalable data solutions and contributing to the Enexis Data Platform. You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organization, applying agile methodologies to solve data and innovation challenges.
